Brief | Provide detailed shop drawings including onsite measurements before fabrication. Fabricate and install custom whiteoak cabinetry and millwork to architects specifications.
Scope | Design, fabricate, and install custom cabinetry (both curved and conventional), banquette seating with storage, floating shelving, white oak tables, and architectural millwork.
Materials | White oak throughout. Blum hardware where applicable.
Finish | Water-based polyurethane
Curved Cabinetry & Shelving
Visually speaking, one of the main features would be this curved cabinetry which would serve as the trash receptical and also as a water filling station.
We fabricated the curved portion using a technique called bent lamination, which is a process where we glue thin layers of wood together around a form. This results in very strong and stable curved pieces.
